"It is nice to be important, but more important to be nice," said Susan whose fondest memory of volunteering with the Red Cross was when she was told she was Volunteer of the Month!
Please join us in congratulating Susan McDonald for being selected as our Volunteer of the Month for September 2009!
Susan has been with the American Red Cross since November 2008. Working with the Health and Safety Department as well as Volunteer Resources, Susan comes in twice a week totaling 8 hours per week of volunteer service.
Susan is one of those people that is willing to do anything to support the cause - from filing to data entry to special projects, Susan contributes her time selflessly. Susan is such a pleasure to work with. She comes in everyday with a big smile and a friendly, warm demeanor.
In her spare time Susan likes to write as well as draw. Her drawings are done in pencil and ink.
It is such an honor to recognize Susan for her efforts. She really does make a difference at the Chapter, and it is great to let her know that she is appreciated. Thank you, Susan!
