Objectives:  The purpose of this course is to certify chapter volunteer and paid staff to safely drive Chapter vehicles.

Application Process:  All vehicle workshop students need to complete the following steps prior to taking the class:

• Complete Vehicle Workshop application. Applications can be obtained from Ian Beeson, Logistics, in person at Headquarters or by emailing ian.beeson@sdarc.org.
  
• Bring application to your direct supervisor for signed approval. They will indicate which modules of the Workshop you need to complete. 
• Obtain a California DMV Driver's License Report (H6) of your driving history. This can be received from the DMV in person, by mail or online.
• Submit completed application (including all components) to Ian Beeson, Logistics in person, by email or by fax at (858) 309-1280. A completed application includes your H6, DMV Record Pull Authorization Form, Chapter Driver Policy Acknowledgement Form and copies of your current CPR and First Aid certifications, California driver's license and certificate of completion of Defensive Driving course (see application for details). Please be ready to provide proof of current insurance when you submit your application.
