Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide the role of the chapter in Bulk Distribution and to prepare workers to know their roles and responsibilities when they are involved in setting up, operating, and supporting Bulk Distribution on a disaster relief operation. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to—
• Identify the role and respobsibilities of a Bulk Distribution worker.
• Describe the role of the chapter in bulk distribution.
• Describe the phases of Bulk Distribution after a disaster: initiating, organizing, conducting and closing.
• Apply the procedures for planning, initiating, organizing, conducting and closing a bulk distribution operation.
• Complete the Disaster Requisition (F6409) form. Explain the importance of using safe work practices on a bulk distribution assignment.
