Who is a Hero? ::

The criteria for the selection of the award recipients:

Nominee(s) must have saved or assisted in saving a life by intervening in a life-threatening situation and/or given the victim the aid needed to survive.
Nominee must live, work, or be stationed in San Diego or Imperial County.
The heroic act must have occurred between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008.
The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
